The task of the competition was to organize the space of the cinema inside the museum building. This is a new format for the Garage Museum. The cinema is shrouded in a multi-layer shell of acoustic curtains, which create the necessary conditions for comfortable film screenings with minimal means. Like a butterfly cocoon, recognizable interior elements of the classic Garage Screen are covered with a protective layer of silk.

Thinking about the difficult fate of the Garage Screen phenomenon itself, we saw in it a living organism that found a temporary refuge for recuperation and further metamorphosis, which will allow us to return to the classic format of summer seasons that everyone has loved in the future.
