MULTI-PURPOSE STADIUM
The concept of the project proposal is to gradually transform the territory from a dump to a temporary stadium with a strategy for further development. The architecture is converted according to a specific scenario that combines temporary and permanent structures. Using materials obtained from the landfill in the architecture makes it possible to implement the principles of a circulation economy on the scale of a given territory, solving two problems at once:
— cleaning the area from waste
— obtaining materials and energy for a new infrastructure.
A special focus is on engaging citizens in solving the MSW problem through the design of public areas.

ECO PARK
According to the development plan, facility construction starts with cleaning just a thin ring track for the future building. A footprint form is a universal basis for the subsequent architectural modifications.
Modern technologies of WTE make it possible to recycle waste and to efficiently utilize the non-sorted residue by receiving secondary raw materials and energy without harming the environment.
Serving as a shelter, a ring canopy also creates a favorable microclimate due to its sophisticated engineering facilities. The roof shape is aimed to collect rainwater that is accumulated in tanks underground. The perimeter duct system is designed to filter the air inside of the ring.
Temporary erected stadium tribunes are a porous structure of light metal rods, obtained during recycling. All necessary exhibition, administrative and public areas fill the voids of this structure.
When the territory is cleaned, one of the possible ways to develop the facility is to transform the stadium into the core of the future eco-park by reusing its materials as the construction of a new infrastructure. The lake that can be installed instead of the football field. Powered by the ring´s microclimate, it will become an oasis and a source of further landscaping of the territory.
